MMC Studios on a Cruise With ‘Deutschland sucht den Superstar’ (German Idol)

Today, the DSDS judges Dieter Bohlen, Michael Wendler, Maite Kelly, and Mike Singer boarded the cruise liner ‘Blue Rhapsody’ in Mainz.

The auditions for the new season of the talent show will be taped on board of the 280 ft. long vessel.

On behalf of UFA SHOW & FACTUAL GmbH, MMC is in charge of the technical TV production and the set construction for the auditions which will air on RTL in 2021.

Until September 27, the ‘Blue Rhapsody’ is sailing through the picturesque Rhine Valley to Duisburg.

On the trip, the cruise liner will repeatedly take talents on board who will face the critical eyes and ears of the judges, hoping to get the coveted recall ticket.

The next mooring points for the ‘Blue Rhapsody’ are: Oberwesel, Boppard, Braubach, Koblenz, Andernach, Linz am Rhein, Königswinter, Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Duisburg.

The floating DSDS casting location is accompanied by the hotel ship ‘MS Oscar Wilde’, on which the crew and the judges live during the cruise.
