‘German Idol’ Live Shows Start This Coming Saturday at MMC Studios

The top 7 contestants of ‘Deutschland sucht den Superstar’ will be performing in a total of four live shows on the big DSDS stage at MMC Studios from Saturday, March 14, at 8:15 p.m.

Alexander Klaws, DSDS winner of the first season and celebrated musical star, will host the live shows.

In every show, the contestant with the fewest votes has to leave the show until the four best singers fight for victory in the big live final on April 4, 2020, at 8:15 p.m.

On behalf of UFA SHOW & FACTUAL, our technical operations and art department teams are in charge of the full technical TV production and the set construction for the shows.

All four live shows will be produced in ultra-high definition and broadcast on channel RTL UHD.

UHD distribution partners in Germany are HD+ via satellite, Deutsche Telekom with Magenta TV, and Wilhem.tel or Willy.tel in the cable network. In Austria, RTL UHD can also be received via SimpliTV Sat HD. In Switzerland RTL UHD is available on Sunrise’s IPTV network.
