MMC Offices

Do you plan to become resident with your company on MMC’s studio lot? Do you produce at the MMC studios and require offices for the duration of your production? And maybe, you require additional spaces for costume design, dressing rooms, or makeup? Or do you shoot for a limited time in the region of Cologne and seek production offices on a temporary basis? At the MMC Studios you find the suitable spaces for all requirements.

The available office facilities at the Coloneum range from 215 to 15,000 ft². If your space requirements are not covered with this, MMC also provides entire office complexes for exclusive use.

The modern facilities include a carpeted floor, CAT cabling, kitchens with dishwasher and refrigerator, toilets, external electrical sun protection, elevators, as well as a canteen / cafeteria, 24/7 reception service, 24/7 security and CCTV surveillance. Further gastronomic options are within walking distance. Additionally, you find sufficient parking spaces on the studio lot, for you and your visitors. Since 2003, there is also a day-care center / nursery on-site.

MMC also provides full service regarding furnishings and tenants’ care. Rooms are fitted with the furniture and technology, according to your requirements. MMC’s facility management team ensures a smooth process and that your new offices are equipped accordingly and on schedule—if required, even on the next day. A cleaning service for your offices is also available, if desired.

MMC also puts the entire IT and telecommunication technology at your disposal, including access to the powerful production data network (100MB/sec, in many areas already 1GB/sec at the network port).

All IT and communications systems at MMC are constantly maintained at the state-of-the-art. Email accounts, as well as text messaging and fax server systems are provided by our IT team as a matter of course, just as are call centers for TV productions. MMC’s IT facilities are served by an Ethernet backbone with a fiber optic cable connection, spanning over the whole Coloneum area. MMC’s IT staff not only offers support—if required 24/7, but also gladly considers individual customer requests.

The MMC Studios are located in Cologne’s northern city district Ossendorf. Due to the MMC Studios, Ossendorf has become an attractive location for companies from the media industry. Apart from many familiar film and TV production companies (please see our company directory “Who is here?”), there are numerous well-known companies of other sectors, who appreciate the location and settled there, e.g.: NetCologne, Coca Cola, DuMont Schauberg, IKEA, FEGRO and the savings bank Sparkasse KölnBonn.

The highway A57 and the highway interchange Köln-Nord (Cologne-North) give good connections in all directions. You can reach the airports Cologne-Bonn and Düsseldorf in 30 and 40 minutes respectively. The travel time from the MMC Studios to the city center is approx. 10 to 15 minutes.  On the studio lot and the Coloneum’s forecourt, you’ll find enough parking spaces for you and your guests (there is a parking fee).

Apart from the highway connections, the location also provides good public transport connections. At a distance of about 2,500 feet, there is the tram stop Sparkasse am Butzweilerhof. The tramline 5 takes you to the Cologne Cathedral in 25 minutes. A bus stop of busline 139 is also close to the MMC Studios. This bus takes you to the train station Köln-Longerich (approx. 0.9 miles distance), where you can take the suburban train S11 (to Düsseldorf Airport – Neuss – Dormagen – Köln-Longerich – Köln Main Station – Bergisch-Gladbach).
