Werner Hansch Crowned the Winner of Germany’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ 2020 at MMC Studios

On Friday night, the final of ‘Promi Big Brother’ (German title), which aired live from MMC Studios, won the prime time 14-49-demo with an outstanding 16.3 rating.

An average of 2.17 million viewers (3 years and older) tuned in to the show (market share: 9.8 percent).

With market shares of up to 17.5 percent in prime time and up to 15.9 percent in late prime, ‘Promi Big Brother’ garnered top ratings for channel SAT.1 during the last three weeks.

On average, the fairy tale themed eighth season produced by Endemol Shine Germany achieved a strong market share of 13.3 percent (all figures 14-49 years).

The season final aired live from the PBB house and the open air stage at MMC Studios.

At the end of the 4 hours show, the TV audience voted legendary sports commentator Werner Hansch (82), the oldest ‘Promi Big Brother’ resident of all time, to claim the trophy and the 100,000 euros cash prize.
