Then the TV Backstage Tour is just the right thing for you!

The MMC Film & TV Studios in Cologne, Germany, are home to popular TV series such as Unter Uns (Among Us) or Alles was zählt (All That Matters) and the location of numerous TV shows such as the German versions of Idol, Strictly Come Dancing / Dancing With The Stars, Got Talent, The X Factor, Dragon’s Den / Shark Tank, Celebrity Big Brother, The Biggest Loser, and many more.

Each year, 200 TV shows and hundreds of series episodes are produced at MMC Studios.

In addition, more than 100 feature films with German and international stars have already been produced on MMC’s soundstages. Amélie earned five Oscar nominations and won four Césars (the French Oscar equivalent). Amélie made nearly $174 million worldwide and it is the highest-grossing French film ever realeased in America – the movie made $33.2 million in the U.S. You might be surprised to know that the interiors of Amélie were shot on MMC’s soundstages as well.

Helena Bonham Carter, Cuba Gooding Jr., Michael Fassbender, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hiddleston, Ben Kingsley, Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren, Roger Moore, Viggo Mortensen, Michelle Pfeiffer, Pierre Richard, Hilary Swank and Audrey Tautou have already been filming here.

Important Information

Please note that the MMC Studios in Cologne, Germany, are not a museum or theme park, but an active TV and film production facility, where many of the entertainment shows, TV series and movies are made, you enjoy watching on TV or in theaters.

Therefore please understand that we cannot show you all the studios, soundstages and other production facilities on MMC’s studio lot.

Also we cannot visit studios or soundstages when the sets are currently in use for rehearsing or filming. Changes in the program may occur, due to ongoing productions and operations.

The studios and soundstages are not heated in the winter time and the studio tour also takes place in the outdoor area. Please ensure you have appropriate clothing. The studio tours are suitable for wheelchairs.

• PRICE *: 15,00 € adults – € 10.00 Reduced
• The price “adult” applies to participants 16 years and older. Children up to 6 years are free of charge!
• The price “Reduced” applies to: Pupils, Students, holders of the Köln-Card, disabled persons from 70%. Reduced participants are required to present a valid ID before the tour!
• * All prices are retail prices according to §25 UStG (Value Added Tax Act). For companies we calculate the VAT additionally.
