The Sloth Wins the Masked Singer Finale at MMC Studios

Sloth beat out Hare, Dragon, and Fluff to take home the Golden Mask during The Masked Singer’s season 2 finale on Tuesday.

Yesterday’s ‘The Masked Singer’ live-broadcast from MMC Studios scored a sensational 36.9 rating among adults 14-49. Incredible 54.2 percent in this demo watched the moment in which the winning Sloth was revealed to be actor Tom Beck.

Up to 10.37 million viewers (3 years and older) tuned in to the grand finale produced by Endemol Shine Germany at our studios. On average, 3.38 million viewers watched the final episode of season 2 on ProSieben.

Three other identities were revealed in the finale: TV moderator Sonja Zietlow slipped out of the Hare costume, singer-songwriter Gregor Meyle was unveiled as the singer behind the Dragon mask, and actor and singer-songwriter Mike Singer turned out to be the Fluff.

Right after the show, the ProSieben magazine ‘red.’ aired live from the Masked Singer studio and scored a whopping 31.3 rating in the 14-49 demo. This marks by far its best rating in 2020.
