First official film still of ZAZY (AT) - set visit of the co-production partners

On March 30, the co-production partners of the feature film ZAZY (AT) visited the shooting at Schloss Ehreshoven in Engelskirchen near Cologne. In addition, the first official film still with Ruby O. Fee in the title role was released.

There they got an impression of the ongoing filming with the main actors Ruby O. Fairy (Zazy) and Paul Boche (Tomek).

Short Content: Zazy (18) is doing an apprenticeship as a tailor in a small town in Trentino. When she meets the elegant and quite wealthy Marianna (39) from Germany, she senses a chance to move up into better society. Together with her boyfriend Tomek (23), Zazy finds a way to worm her way into Marianna's life. Soon the young couple has Marianna in their hands - a sadistic power game begins.

Zazy is played by Ruby O. Fairywhich is currently showing in German cinemas with ALS WIR TRÄUMTEN by Andreas Dresen. ALS WIR TRÄUMTEN celebrated its world premiere in competition at this year's Berlinale. For her role in the crime scene HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SARAH, Ruby O. Fee was awarded the Cinema Jupiter Award as "Best National Actress" and the Günter Strack Television Award as "Best Newcomer" in 2014. She is one of the most promising and successful young German actresses.

At the side of Ruby O. Fee and in front of the camera of Ralf M. Mendle plays Paul Boche the role of Zazy's friend Tomek, Petra Van de Voort plays Marianna and Philippe Brenninkmeyer her husband Maximilian.

For book and direction M.X.Oberg who recently scored an international arthouse success with STRATOSPHERE GIRL.

ZAZY (AT) is produced by the Cologne-based production company gilles mann film production with the producers Daniel man and Marco Gilles in coproduction with MMC Movies, Bastie Griese and Philip Borbély in collaboration with WeFadeToGrey, Torus, Maier Bros. and Ludwig camera rental.

ZAZY (AT) is brought to the cinemas by Cologne-based Real Fiction Film Distribution, Joachim Kühn; the Cinema release is for Summer 2016 notified.

The production is sponsored by the Film and Media Foundation NRW and the German Federal Film Fund (DFFF).

Filming will run until mid-April in NRW in Cologne and at MMC Studios, ending in Riva del Garda in Trentino in northern Italy.
