Training at MMC Studios: Takeover guarantor for NRW's media makers of tomorrow

With apprenticeships in the technical and commercial area the MMC Studios offer a Variety of options for initial vocational qualification. The company is able to offer a total of 8 different trainings and to provide technical, didactic and organizational support. In the technical area, these include training as a media designer for image and sound, an IT systems electronics technician, an event technology specialist, and a warehouse logistics specialist.

On the commercial side, MMC regularly trains audiovisual media clerks. In this job profile, the trainee passes through all departments involved in the value creation process in the media from a commercial point of view. Event clerks, marketing communication clerks and office management clerks can also be qualified at MMC.

A large number of young people have already completed their varied and challenging apprenticeships at MMC Studios. A successful apprenticeship at MMC is a guarantee for being taken on by the company - and so former MMC trainees can now be found at all levels of the media industry.

At MMC, students from universities with dual degree programs have the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience in the company and the option to extend their Bachelor thesis with practical production topics at MMC.

The Students gain an intensive insight into the areas of controlling, accounting, project management, human resources, sales, marketing and TV production. In all the departments involved, they learn about the specific work content and thus acquire comprehensive knowledge of a complex media operation. This year, students from the Cologne universities HMKW and FOM will be trained in this way at the MMC Studios.
