WEBVIDEOPREIS DEUTSCHLAND: European Web Video Academy and MMC Studios agree on strategic partnership

The successful cooperation is to be intensified in the coming years.

Last weekend, the European Web Video Academy (EWVA) awarded the WEBVIDEOPREIS DEUTSCHLAND for the sixth time at a brilliant show gala in Düsseldorf's Castello. MMC Studios was responsible again this year for the technical production and the live broadcast as well as the general contractor for the stage construction.

In 2014 and 2015, MMC Studios had already supported EWVA with a variety of services in the technical implementation and live broadcast of the awards ceremony. Now it is clear that the cooperation will not only continue in the coming years, but will be further expanded.

Dr. Dimitrios Argirakos, Managing Director of EWVA, is delighted with the cooperation: "We have had excellent experiences with MMC Studios in the past and are therefore very pleased that we will be working even more closely together in the future." And Markus Hündgen, also managing director of EWVA, adds: "This is an important signal for NRW as a web video location."

Nico Roden, Director Sales & Production at MMC Studios Cologne, is looking forward to continuing the successful partnership over the next three years: "We believe in high-quality content on the web. It is therefore obvious to design the technical production environment just as professionally as the contributions themselves. The partnership with EWVA is the logical consequence of our joint efforts to expand NRW as a media location."
