About the content:
A weekend alone at home with the kids - and already chaos breaks out at Papa Moll. While Moll is working overtime at the chocolate factory, a merciless battle breaks out between his children and the offspring of his boss: over cotton candy, punitive tasks and the most famous circus dog in the world.

PAPA MOLL is a production of Zodiac Pictures Ltd in co-production with MMC Zodiac, SRF, Impuls Media Group and Teleclub. The film is directed by Manuel Flurin Hendry.
The film is supported by the Federal Office of Culture, Zurich Film Foundation, Swiss Radio and Television SRF, SRG SSR, Teleclub, Canton Lucerne and Aargau, German Federal Film Fund, Suissimage and MEDIA Development. Other partners are the Stiftung Gesundheitsförderung Bad Zurzach + Baden, the municipality of Bad Zurzach and Aargau Tourismus.
The film is based on the picture stories by Edith Oppenheim-Jonas, published by Globi Verlag Zurich. The 30th Papa Moll volume will also be published there on October 13, 2017.
Filming of PAPA MOLL took place in August and September 2016 in Switzerland, at MMC Studios Cologne and in Görlitz.
The children and family film comes on 21 December 2017 distributed by The Walt Disney Company (Switzerland) GmbH into the Swiss German cinemas.
polyband is expected to release the film in German cinemas in spring 2018 under the title "Papa Moll und die Schokoladenfabrik". ARRI Worldsales is responsible for international evaluation.
