Go-ahead for "X Factor" from MMC Studios on August 27

Who has the "X Factor"? At Monday, August 27, 2018The latest season of the music entertainment show kicks off exclusively on Sky 1 and Sky Ticket.

The most talented musicians from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will compete against each other in four categories and will try to win a prize during the Auditions, the Chair Challenge and in the three big live shows in October to convince the prominent jury and the audience of their merits. Not only female and male solo artists of all ages, but also groups and bands are given the chance to pursue a musical career.

In the top-class Jury Sitting world star Thomas Anders, the successful rapper and producer Sido, rock singer Jennifer Weist of the band "Jennifer Rostock" and pop singer Lions Head aka Iggy.

During the course of the show, the jurors become mentors to the candidates and fight for their favorites. This means that the jury members also compete with each other. The music professionals use their know-how to help the candidates achieve the perfect performance, make artistic decisions with them and fight to ensure that their act wins the show in the grand finale.

Moderated will be "X Factor" by Charlotte Worthy, who is on a studio stage for the first time with husband Sido and Ben Istenes, Hungarian presenter with great show experience.

The UFA Show & Factual produces the format in the MMC Studios in Cologne.

"X Factor" starts on Monday, August 27 at 8:15 p.m. and can always be seen on Fridays and Mondays on Sky 1, Sky Go and Sky Ticket.

"X Factor" is one of the most successful music casting shows in the world and has already run in 52 countries worldwide. Among them England, Australia, Belgium, Russia, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, France, USA, Japan and Brazil. The show was developed in 2004 by Simon Cowell, who also penned FremantleMedia's successful "Got Talent" format.

"X Factor" has, like no other music format, attracted world stars such as Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, Olly Murs, James Arthur and One Direction produced.
