They roar again! Start of the new season of "Die Höhle der Löwen" from MMC Studios on 03.09. on VOX

The multiple award-winning start-up show "The lions' den" returns on Tuesday, 03.09. at 20:15 at VOX back with new episodes.

The eleven new episodes of the sixth season were published in the Studio 36 of MMC Studios in Cologne produced. In the process, MMC was commissioned by Sony Pictures Film und Fernsehproduktions GmbH responsible for the complete technical television production and the Set construction as well as the Lighting technology.

In the new season await the biggest pack ever again innovative inventions, passionate founders and hard-fought deals.

Five "lions" sit in the cave per pitch, including start-up legend Frank Thelen, Beauty expert Judith Williams, economic size Carsten Maschmeyer, media entrepreneur Georg Kofler, Trade mogul Ralf Dümmel, family entrepreneur Dagmar Wöhrl and Orthomol managing director and new "lion" Nils Glagau!

In the very first episode, the "predatory cats" sniff out a fat prey: Rubin Lind presents his learning app "Skills4School".

What makes it special: The founder developed the app at the age of 17 and now, at 19, is standing in front of investors to confidently convince them of his innovation. His app is aimed at teachers and students and is based on a learning algorithm that determines learning progress and suggests customized, individual content.

With the help of start-up competitions, the young CEO has won between 500 and 10,000 euros in recent years, but now needs another 700,000 euros to be able to pay his programmers and scale the concept. Although all the "lions" are enthusiastic about the 19-year-old, they are having a hard time, because he only wants to give up 14 percent of the company shares. Will the deal still go through in the end?

Patrick Mayer (40) also ventures into "Die Höhle der Löwen" and presents his start-up "Wheelblades".

The enthusiastic winter sportsman had a serious snowboarding accident and has been dependent on a wheelchair and walking aids ever since. To give other people with mobility impairments back a bit of independence, Patrick invented his "Wheelblades". These are specially made skids that are put under the front wheels of a wheelchair to prevent them from sinking into the snow. In addition, the "Wheelblades" can also be used with a stroller or a walker. Will the "lions" invest the required 100,000 euros in a seasonal product?

Plus, these startups are looking to score points with investors in the first new episode: "Paudar" (frying powder), "JAGUA for YOU" (gel for temporary tattoos) and "Sphery" (game-based training concept). There will also be a reunion with "Abfluss-Fee" founder Karl-Heinz Bilz.

VOX will show the eleven new episodes of "Die Höhle der Löwen," hosted by Amiaz Habtu, every Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. starting September 3, 2019.

The news channel n-tv always radiates Fridays at 20:15 the current episode from Tuesday as a repeat.

In addition, the broadcast can be viewed up to 30 days after broadcasting available free of charge on TVNOW.
