As part of the Film Festival Cologne 2019, MMC Studios Cologne and the post-production service provider "WeFadeToGrey" have one of the largest color grading cinemas in Europe inaugurated.
Together with more than 150 guests, the official opening was celebrated last Friday at the MMC Studios in Cologne. In "The Suite", films are given the finishing touches before their theatrical release by means of detailed color correction - so-called "color grading". The service has already been used by both national and international producers, for example of "The Operative„, „Benjamin floret„, „So close to the horizon" or "My Lotta Life - All Bingo with Flamingo!„.
The studio on the MMC site offers state-of-the-art high-end technology: "The Suite" was designed as a movie theater that is equipped with a 40 square meter big screen, 4K projection technology, Dolby Atmos sound and a separate lounge area has at its disposal. For digital color correction, the latest versions of the FilmLight Baselight and DaVinci Resolve grading systems available.
