On March 27, 2020, the Grimme Awards will be presented for the 56th time in Marl. Lars Kraume's six-part Bauhaus series "Die Neue Zeit," which was shot at MMC Studios among other locations, is nominated for the set in the "Special" category.
"The New Era" is a fictional series, but it closely follows the historical figures and events at the founding of the legendary Bauhaus School of Art and Design.
For the series had the MMC Equipment after the Production design by Olaf Schiefner one after the other two film sets at MMC Studio 41 built the lecture hall and the artist studio of the Bauhaus school.
"The New Era" is a zero one film production in co-production with ZDF/Arte, Constantin Television and Nadcon Film. The Announcement of the winners of this year's Grimme Prizes will take place on March 3, 2020.
