About Wild Republic
In the middle of the impassable landscape at the foot of the Alps: A group of young offenders is to be introduced to resocialization through an experiential education measure. The aim of the expedition, which lasts several weeks, is to promote a sense of community, solidarity and consideration for the individual.

Then it happens: A mountain guide and supervisor is found dead at night. No one knows what happened - accident or murder? The group panics and is faced with a difficult decision: Wait for the authorities, only to fall under suspicion themselves due to prejudice? Or flee and take fate into their own hands?

The young people have little in common, but one thing unites them: they have had bad experiences with the authorities and the justice system and have no confidence in a fair trial. Since they themselves do not know who the perpetrator is, they have only one choice: they flee in the only possible direction - further and higher into the Alpine massif. Their escape seems a hopeless endeavor until they come across a huge hidden cave that offers them shelter from wind, weather and their pursuers.

In this majestic place in the mountains and free from state sanctions, they decide to found a free republic with self-imposed rules and laws. Soon there are conspiracies and power games, the flat hierarchy gives way to a circle of decision-makers. And it is only a matter of time before the police task forces discover the hideout.
