Big "Henssler vs. Mälzer" special on "Grill den Henssler" on Aug. 2 at 8:15 p.m. on VOX. One week later, the five-part summer season will start, which, like the special, was produced at MMC Studios.
On behalf of ITV Studios Germany were the MMC Studios for the technical TV production responsible for the cooking show and the Art Department the MMC supplied the Stage and decoration construction.
Hot, hotter, Henssler! The chef-king also turns up the stove to the highest level on VOX in the summer.
It starts on August 2 with the Battle of the cooking giants: In the "Grill den Henssler" special episode hosted by Laura Wontorra, the two ego-robbers Steffen Henssler and Tim Mälzer compete against each other in a direct cooking battle.
Between the improvisation course, appetizer, main course and dessert, heated exchanges, exaggerated self-assessment and culinary border crossings are guaranteed. Because in the special, the two Hamburg chefs will be confronted with some unexpected refinements.
Who can win the duel of the duels? So far, it's a draw: While Tim Mälzer lost to Steffen Henssler two years ago, Henssler had to admit defeat this year on "Kitchen Impossible"...
A week later (August 9 at 8:15 p.m.) on VOX, the show continues with a real heat-up.:
In five episodes in the "Grill den Henssler" summer season, celebrity amateur chefs will once again try to beat Steffen Henssler at the stove and the jury trio. Reiner Calmund, Mirja Boes and Christian Rach convince of their dishes.
Included are Influencer Dagi Bee, "Sing meinen Song" stars LEA and MoTrip, "Prince Charming" Nicolas Puschmann, pop star Vanessa Mai, singer Sarah Lombardi and permanent rival Detlef Steves. Actors André Dietz and Hardy Krüger Jr, "dog pro" Martin Rütter, "Let's Dance" judges Motsi Mabuse and Jorge González, and comedians Markus Krebs and Chris Tall also want to beat Steffen Henssler in the cooking competition.
There is also a special reunion: With Annie Hoffmann a former "Grill den Henssler" host also competes against the professional chef.
At the side of the celebrities are the top-class Cooking coaches Christian Lohse, Frank Buchholz, Ali Güngörmüs, Sascha Stemberg and Yannic Stockhausen.
VOX will show the "Grill den Henssler" special "Henssler vs. Mälzer" on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at 8:15 pm.
The five brand new episodes of the summer season start one week later, on August 9 at 20:15.
