MMC Studios and LAVAlabs at EUROPEAN SERIES DAY

Check out the EUROPEAN SERIES DAY in Cologne on October 2.

To 13:00 hold Jens Wolf, Managing Director of MMC Studios Köln GmbH, and Michael Brink, Managing Partner of LAVAlabs Moving Images GmbH & Co KG, at the movie palace 1 the lecture "Producing Series in Times of Corona - The LED Wall Technology Revolution".

They will lead you to the Virtual Production a modern production method that helps you improve production planning, increase shoot efficiency, and reduce on-location shooting, expensive reshoots, and post-production time.

The EUROPEAN SERIES DAY within the framework of the FILM FESTIVAL COLOGNE is organized in cooperation with Creative Europe Desk NRW, ifs internationale filmschule köln and Film- und Medienstiftung NRW.

In times of crisis, fictional TV content plays an important role for societies. Serial storytelling in particular gives us a sense of continuity, reliability and human cohesion. Series help us understand our identity as social beings by mirroring current events and social dynamics and filling them with meaning.

In light of the various crises that are shaking our world, this year's EUROPEAN SERIES DAY highlights the Links between the current situation and the series market.

The focus is on young, innovative content, challenging productions, new trends in distribution, and the creatives and decision-makers behind the exciting projects that give us pause and make us think.
