On Friday, October 2, 2020, "Der Deutsche Comedypreis" will be broadcast live on SAT.1 and on Joyn from 8:15 p.m. onwards.
The award ceremony will take place Studio Köln-Mülheim. There is MMC Studios' sister company Crosscast GmbH on behalf of Brainpool for the technical TV production responsible for the show.
Crosscast controls production from a new directionwhich was developed, built and installed by Crosscast at the Cologne-Mülheim studio. Crosscast has already successfully used the control room for the entertainment show series "Big Performance," which was also produced by Brainpool.

Among other things in the hall: Martina Hill, Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, Katrin Bauerfeind, Mirja Boes, Guido Cantz, Olli Dittrich, Bernhard Hoëcker, Faisal Kawusi, Johann König, Ingolf Lück, Michael Mittermeier, Max Giermann, Bülent Ceylan and Ralf Schmitz.
Luke then hands over to Laudators and guestswho lead through a very special comedy evening - with many surprises for the audience in the hall and at home.
Who will get the "Best Comedian" award? Who will be "Best Comedian"? And who will win the other prizes?
For the first time in the history of the German Comedy Awards, all ten categories will be awarded by the audience.
At www.deutscher-comedypreis.de the audience can still vote for their favorites online and by phone during the live show until the last minute and determine the award winners.
Of course, all hygiene measures and current recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute will be implemented on this evening.
