Jan Böhmermann Welcomes his audience Fridays at 11:00 p.m. starting November 6, 2020 to its new Late-night satire on ZDF.
Away from daily political events, Böhmermann takes up major socially relevant topics in a surprising and witty way on "ZDF Magazin Royale" and triggers debates.
Adhering to all hygiene regulations is as natural for the entire "ZDF Magazin Royale" team as it is challenging in the planning process.
However, Corona can't change the basic concept, consisting of political satire, elaborate films and live music with the Ehrenfeld Radio Dance Orchestra, any more than it can change the broadcasting slot directly after the "heute-show.
The whole takes place in the freshly designed "Studio König" in Cologne-Ehrenfeld.
The new studio set was released from the MMC Art Department on behalf of the Group 5 Film Production Ltd. built.
In addition, the MMC Art Department, in cooperation with ETC Entertainment Technology Concepts, provided the LED screen and lighting technology for the new set.
