"Let's Dance" starts on Feb. 26 with these stars on RTL and RTL UHD - live from the MMC Studios

"Let's Dance" is in the starting blocks: On Friday, February 26, the 14th season will start at 8:15 p.m. with the big get-to-know-you show. It is produced at MMC Studios in UHD HDR and can be seen on RTL and RTL UHD.

For 15 years, "Let's Dance" has stood for diversity and entertainment. No other format brings together so many nations, so many different ways of life and love, and manages to surprise viewers and participants year after year. Despite the pandemic, when Germany's most beautiful dance show is broadcast on Friday, February 26, 8.15 p.m. with the get-to-know-you show on RTL starts into the 14th season, distraction is guaranteed again.

In twelve subsequent shows, 14 celebrities compete for the title of "Dancing Star 2021 and try to convince the critical jury, consisting of Motsi Mabuse, Joachim Llambi and Jorge Gonzalez, to convince them of their skills. Victoria Swarovski and Daniel Hartwich once again lead through the live shows and fever with the stars week after week.

To the prominent dance students of the 14th season counts Jan Hofer, the face of ARD's main news until the end of 2020. With Nicolas Puschmannwho became famous through the gay dating format "Prince Charming," will be the first time a man will dance with a man during this year's "Let's Dance" season.

Furthermore, 2021 ventures onto the dance floor: Germanist, sociologist, key note speaker and journalist Auma Obama, sports reporter Kai Ebel, actress Valentina Pahde, pop singer Mickie Krause, singer, entertainer, influencer and businesswoman Senna Gammour, actor Erol Sander, presenter, influencer & model Lola Weippert, professional soccer player Rúrik Gíslason, musician Ilse DeLange, model Kim Riekenberg, boxer Simon Zachenhuber and singer Vanessa Neigert.

The fight for the title "Dancing Star 2021" starts with the big get to know you showin which the 14 celebrity candidates find out which professional dancer they will be dancing with in the following weeks or even months.

Week after week, the stars will then sweat, groan over sore muscles and, above all, rise above themselves - to bring a smile to the faces of an audience of millions on Friday night.

And also in 2021 there are following the 14th season of "Let's Dance - Die große Profi-Challenge".Here, the professional dancers get to prove their athletic and creative skills in a unique live show.

All live shows of "Let's Dance" will also be broadcast in UHD HDR.
