MMC Studios and other Cologne media companies support fundraising campaign #nitallein

Cologne media companies are involved in the fundraising campaign "Nur zesamme sin mer Fastelovend - Mer looße üch nit allein" to support the location, its carnival culture, the trades and the artists.

No one celebrates like Cologne! Rhenish cheerfulness has a long tradition here, largely shaped by carnival. In countless clubs, dance groups, bands and honorary posts, people are committed to carnival culture, both together and as solo artists. The Corona pandemic also affects thousands of people here financially.

It is not without reason that more TV entertainment is produced in the cathedral city than elsewhere: The television industry benefits from creativity and joie de vivre at the location, from numerous talents on stage and behind the scenes, competence in the trades and an audience with a lot of fun.

Against this background, the Cologne media companies are committed to UFA Show & Factual, MMC Studios Cologne, Banijay Germany, Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland, Bavaria Entertainment/Bavaria Fiction, i&u TV and the media magazine DWDL.de with 5,000 euros each for the fundraising campaign "Nur zesamme sin mer Fastelovend - Mer looße üch nit allein" to support the location, its carnival culture, the trades and the artists.

Today, on Weiberfastnacht, finds in favor of the action, which was initiated by the Cologne Carnival Festival Committee and Cologne-based companies, a jecke live show to the donation marathon will take place at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne.

Starting at 10:30 a.m., numerous stars will perform. The Bläck Fööss, the Höhner, Wolfgang Niedecken, Cat Ballou, Lupo and many more will be there. Speeches by Bernd Stelter and Martin Schopps round off the program. Mirja Boes and Guido Cantz moderate the donation marathon. All partners as well as the participating artists perform without remuneration.

The show will take place on the Magenta TV channel #DABEI shown.
