Can you tell if someone can sing - without ever having heard their voice? The music comedy show "I Can See Your Voice," hosted by Daniel Hartwich, provides the answer. Following the success of the first two episodes in summer 2020, RTL will show six new episodes, produced by Tresor TV at MMC Studios, starting on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 8:15 p.m. each night.

About "I Can See Your Voice:
Seven unknowns on a show stage: who can sing, who can't? Who is a talented singer and who is an unrestrained fake without any singing quality?

In five rounds of play try a music star and his super fan using intuition, knowledge of human nature and clues to unmask the swindlers.

In the six new episodes "I Can See Your Voice" Barbara Schöneberger, Hartmut Engler, Maite Kelly, The BossHoss, Jeanette Biedermann and Max Mutzke compete with their superfans.

The music star and his fan are supported by a five-member celebrity panelwho guesses along in every episode and provides additional fun with loose sayings.

In addition to Thomas Hermanns, who can be seen in each episode, there are four other colleagues, including Tim Mälzer, Oliver Pocher, Sophia Thomalla, Victoria Swarovski, Oliver Geissen, Michael Kessler, Jorge Gonzales, Jürgen von der Lippe, Sasha, Ross Antony, Sabrina Mockenhaupt, Joachim Llambi, Lili Paul-Roncalli, Caroline Maria Frier, Motsi Mabuse and Ilka Bessin.

Round after round, the music star and his biggest fan say goodbye to a candidate they believe can't sing. And each farewell provides a show highlight, because the eliminated contestant now performs on the "stage of truth". Now it becomes clear: Has the guessing team of star and fan identified an impostor with a crooked voice or given a great singing talent the boot?

The candidate who makes it to the finals gets to sing a duet with the music star. This is where the hard truth becomes apparent: golden throat or cat musician?

Only if the last candidate is a top singer, the superfan wins a cash prize of 10,000 euros. But if the duo has fallen for an impostor with no voice, no sense of time and no understanding of melody, the swindler gets the money.

"I Can See Your Voice" is a licensed format from South Korea and has been running there with great success since 2015 - now in its seventh season. In 2016, the show was nominated in the "Best Non-Scripted Entertainment Program" category of the 44th International Emmy Awards.

There have also been successful adaptations in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, China, as well as in Bulgaria, the USA, France, and in 2021 also in the UK.

"I Can See Your Voice" is produced by Tresor TV Produktions GmbH on behalf of RTL.
