Filming of the new RTL sitcom "Nichttotzukriegen" (AT) began in Cologne on 20.09.2016.
The main roles in the black-humored RTL in-house production are played by actor and cabaret artist Jochen Busse ("Das Amt," "7 Tage, 7 Köpfe"), Caroline Maria Frier ("Alles was zählt"), Tristan Seith ("Im Knast"), Mathias Harrebye Brandt ("Die Pfefferkörner"), Amelie Plaas-Link ("... und dann noch Paula," "Der Lehrer") and Grimme Award winner Petra Nadolny ("Switch Reloaded").
The sitcom is a PRO TV production commissioned by RTL. Filming will take place over 29 days in the Cologne MMC Studios and in a villa in Ratingen. MMC is commissioned by PRO TV with the Studio production also for the Decoration construction and the Lighting technology responsible. The broadcast of the total of eight episodes is planned for 2017.
Helmut Kraft has outlived them all - his wife, his few friends and finally his younger brother Paul. There's no one left who just wants his money and lives at his expense. But why does his 400-square-meter mansion suddenly feel so empty? No question, new housemates are needed - and the old man already knows how to do it!
In the eight-part sitcom, Jochen Busse plays an old creep who sells his real estate to two unsuspecting couples at a disproportionately low price - but with lifelong living rights in the attic for him. And Helmut's plan works: his willing victims, no buyers, are the sisters Dagmar and Nina and their husbands Oliver and Rasmus. A permanent, bizarre and turbulent trial of strength between and within the generations begins - and so there is always something going on in the picturesque dream house!
"Nichttotzukriegen" is a production of PRO TV Produktion GmbH, producer is Uli Wilkes. Executive producer is Natalie Schneiders. The directors are Felix Stienz and Daniel "Rakete" Siegel. The writers are Stefanie Ren, Rolf Gade, Holger Schmidt, Felix Stienz and Ralf Betz. The fiction division at RTL is represented by Philipp Steffens, and the RTL editorial team is headed by Brigitte Kohnert.
