NRW premiere of "Zazy" in Cologne

Last night (22.03.17) the thriller "Zazy" from director M.X.Oberg celebrated his NRW premiere in room 1 of the newly renovated Cologne movie palaces.

Besides the director, the main actors included. Ruby O. Fairy, Paul Boche and Petra van de Voort, the producers Daniel man and Marco Gilles and the co-producers Philip Borbély and Bastie Griese present for the premiere screening.

Zazy" was first performed at the Montreal World Film Festival in Canada. The film celebrated its European premiere on 01 October 2016 at the Filmfest Hamburg. In addition, the thriller screened at various festivals, including the Cork International Film Festival (Ireland) and the Cairo International Film Festival (Egypt), and he was awarded a prize on the Biberach Film Festival excellent. Zazy" opens in German cinemas next week.

Zazy (18), who comes from a humble background, is doing an apprenticeship as a tailor in a small town in Trentino. When she meets the elegant and quite wealthy Marianna (39) there, she senses a chance to move up in society. Together with her boyfriend Tomek (21), Zazy finds a way to worm her way into Marianna's life. Soon the young couple has Marianna in their hands - a sadistic power game begins.

"Zazy" is a production of the gilles-mann film production in coproduction with MMC Movies, in cooperation with WDR, RBB, WeFadeToGrey, Torus, Maier Bros. and Ludwig camera rental, sponsored by Film and Media Foundation NRW (script and production), DFFF and the Trentino Film Commission.

The Filming took place in NRW, Cologne, the MMC Studios and in Riva del Garda in Trentino (northern Italy).

Real Fiction Filmverleih (Joachim Kühn) will release the film in theaters on March 30, 2017.
